How much will my appointment cost?

All of the services offered at Azar House Pregnancy Resource Center are available at no cost. You do not need insurance or payment at any time.

When should I take a pregnancy test?

Pregnancy tests should be taken one week after your missed period. Taking a pregnancy test too early puts you at risk for your results to come up with a false negative because you have not had enough time to build up enough Human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) hormone to be detectable. If you do not want to wait until after your missed period, a test can be taken one to two week after you last had sex.

Can I visit Azar House if I am under 18?

Yes, regardless of your age, you can receive treatment at Azar House Pregnancy Resource Center. Our services are free and confidential and are here to serve you even if you are under 18. However, if you are under 16, you will need parental consent when you visit.

Do I need to bring my parents with me to my appointment?

In most cases, no. Parental consent or presence is only required if you are under the age of 16. Anyone 16 or older does not need parental consent to be seen at Azar House Pregnancy Resource Center.

Can someone come with me to my appointment?

You are free to bring someone with you to your appointment. Whether it be a parent, friend, or significant other, they are welcome to come with you, but due to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPPA) Act, there will be parts of your appointment when they will be asked to leave the room.
